The worst dinning experience I have EVER had. The service was a record slow and my chicken (I waited forever for) was raw! I worked many years in the service industry so I know how it can be, but this was awful! The bad experience started with waiting for a hostess and it was not busy. We sat down around 10 minutes before our server to showed up, we were lucky our wait was that long..... I watched many others wait longer. She ask what we wanted to drink and order and that was the last I saw of her until 50 minutes later when our food arrived. If you have an hour to spare before your flight this place is not for you. We ordered food that should be prepared that morning and not take long to serve— gumbo, roast beef poboy, jambalaya with chicken on top. I would have said something to the server about my raw chicken, but I never saw her again.

Worst burger ever and the sweet potato fries were soggy. Highly do not recommend.

"Authentic" is the best word I can think of to decide Dook's place. Fantastic local brew beer on draft and the crab cakes are spot on. Great choice for some quality food before you leave the airport or while you wait!
